We want to continue our work of equipping you to glorify and enjoy God, forever, through Jesus, so that we are loving God and love our neighbors. The governor’s stay at home order does end this weekend, however, the recommended limitations on mass gatherings will hinder our “re-opening” for a few weeks. The Elders continue to monitor the situation, submit to governing authorities the Lord has given us, and pursue love of one another (and our neighbors). We can’t wait to get together corporately soon. In the mean time, as the stay at home order is lifted, let’s pursue relationships with one another.
This weekend, we are launching a new series on the Psalms of Ascent (which are Psalms 120-134). We’ll be studying these through the summer. They will be especially relevant because they were written for an exiled community making a pilgrimage to Jerusalem to worship (after being away for a while). As we study these Psalms week in and week out, be thinking of what God’s wanting to do in your heart as we draw near to Him corporately.
